Here at Off the Tracks towers aka Mac, we're beavering away on our next issue. As we do this as a hobby and rely on mainly instagramers to feed us with great content, we don't work to specific deadlines. However, da-da-da-da issue 2 is nearing completion. We're getting the final stories in and will be designing them over the next week or so. All in all issue 2 could reach nearly 100 pages. This will be around three times larger than issue 1. Well, I guess you need to start somewhere.
We'll update on publication and on content in time.
We'd also like to thank all the people who have posted comments on our instagram Off the Tracks Magazine page and have responded to calls for pics. We are planning, for example, an article on early electric traction and asked for shots of GG1s - those iconic Pennsylvania Railroad locomotives - and have been sent in many of the engines from around the US. Our feature will compare the GG1s with similar era locomotives from around the world.
